"Zydeco" spelling appears in print

Folklorist Mack McCormick used the spelling "zydeco" in liner notes to the 1960 LP A Treasury of Field Recordings, describing local Black Creole groups around Houston. Earlier recordings used other spellings, including Clifton Chenier's "Zodico Stomp" (1955).
