Louisiana Creole flag designed in Lafayette

A Louisiana Creole flag was designed in 1987. Its quadrants stand for French, West African (Mali and Senegal) and Spanish heritage, and a white cross divides them. C.R.E.O.L.E., Inc., a Lafayette heritage group, adopted it.
