Clifton Chenier wins a Grammy for "I'm Here!"

Clifton Chenier and His Red Hot Louisiana Band won Best Ethnic or Traditional Folk Recording at the 26th Annual Grammy Awards in 1984 for "I'm Here!" on Alligator Records. The NEA named him a National Heritage Fellow the same year.
